Senior Secondary and Velammal are nearby. It is the kind of neighbourhood where you can build a home and not need to plan long drives for daily essentials.

On the Price

Plots in Velachery are priced at roughly ₹11,000 to ₹12,000 per square foot at present, which puts them among the higher end of South Chennai localities outside Adyar and Besant Nagar. Some buyers see this as a reason to look elsewhere. We would argue the opposite.

High prices in a genuinely established area with limited land availability do not represent speculation: they represent real demand from people who actually want to live there. The floor in Velachery is high because the reasons to be there are real. That is a different situation from a developing outskirt where prices are running ahead of the fundamentals.
